September through December is one of my favorite times of year in San Miguel de Allende. From Independence Day and the colorful traditions honoring San Miguel Arcángel to Día de los Muertos, Las Posadas and Christmas, these months are filled with celebrations, processions, fireworks and traditions that offer a wonderful glimpse into the heart of the city.

El Charco del Ingenio is a must-visit in San Miguel de Allende, offering scenic trails, stunning canyon views, a relaxing café, and a charming gift shop filled with handmade items and tiny cactuses.
